Which german medium line

Conq is also lighter with a better engine, even though the supposed max speed is lower. And to be fair, I'm starting to grind british a little bit more. I've been stuck on BR 4. Moreover, gun-wise the long US 90mm is quite similar to long 88, which I do use from time to time. Better ask Gaijin, but if you face KT, you have probably seen those players who swing turret left and right when reloading.

APDS would usually bounce. Shooting one side of turret won't damage the other side. I agree the Conqueror excels at long range though - it is a 7. Conqueror also has neutral steering, which is supposed to be an advantage; but in Warthunder than makes steering worse and it loses speed like crazy. I play RB mainly these days. Used to main AB because my old computer couldn't render well enough for RB. Good luck, you will find the lack of British rounds annoying, but that probably gets you ready for Leopard 1.

Swinging the turret brings marginal increase in protection. Against higher BR it doesn't really work besides sometimes making the shooter nervous enough that he'll flunk the shot. For long range, I just hope for a penetrating shot. LFP is almost a reliable pen, british love to put their ammoracks right in front and it's quite big.

You will get to learn that when you start Leopard 1 grind. Cupola shot is the only way to kill it. Russian or German medium Tank line? Share More sharing options Followers 3. Report post. Posted November 13, Since this is my first post, I would also like to say Hello to everyone. Now that being said About me, and why did i create this topic? What is my experience with War Thunder so far? What kind of player am I and what did give me the most fun? As mentioned before, I am bit on the crossroads here.

So the main question is: Which medium tank line is worth grinding for, and I will be happy playing them What do you think?
 More sharing options Stahlvormund 12, It sounds to me like you enjoy both sides alot so why dont you play both?

You may not want to peek around corners with it and its upgrades, because it is: a large b has a frontal transmission which means your turret is further back and will be late to be around the corner c doesn't have the turret armor to withstand enemies who can aim a little but as you discovered, they sport quite a high mobility over any terrain, a very impressive gun and respectable reload and sufficient armor to make enemies have to actually aim, especially over distance.

Germans and russians own everybody else from t1 to t5. Taeblamees 1, I can't comment on the russian line. General thoughts Good stuff: Penetration Accuracy Reload Meh stuff: Hull armor works if you're top BR in a battle Explosive filler in shells Bad stuff: Turret armor Mobility Big tank, big target Reverse gear on Panthers Constant uptiers all the way through Judging by your prefrences I'm not sure this is the best line for you since, while it does require you to flank and ambush, you can't rely on your mobility or armor.

What do you mean? It doesn't need to turn. It will drive straight to Moscow. Posted November 14, Russians are easy mode every br but 6. Loongsheep 5, One more time, thanks again for all the opinions.

IV Schmalturm. Panzer Schwarzpanzer Panzer 58 Mutz. Kampfpanzer 07 RH. T 55A. Kampfpanzer 50 t. Kunze Panzer.

B2 f. Tiger VK E 75 TS. StuG IV. Dicker Max. Kanonenjagdpanzer Rheinmetall Skorpion G. Then, Leo would run and shoot on the move, using terrain as cover, trying not to get hit. At that time, EM should be played more boldly, ramming enemy tanks to death. Being quick and agile with fast aiming, Leopard I is a true gunslinger.

It is capable of popping up from the cover, shooting quick and accurate with the punch that hurts. It can do it so quickly that enemy tanks are not able to turn to you and properly aim. That is why you should always try to be on the move, never popping up twice at the same place, because they will wait for you and hit your weak ammo rack with a first shot. I love Leopard I. It is my favorite tier X medium.

Better than STB-1, which is very similar. Jshellster, on 09 February - PM, said:. I bought the Leo PTA but gave up the line since it is very situational and therefore difficult tank to play. I'm currently grinding the E50 in order to get the best turret and the gun on this thing and it already feels better than the Leo PTA for my game style. With the current game play due to game mechanics and so on I would actually advice you to start grinding the soviet medium lines.

E50, for example, seems to have the same camo as the IS-7 it's based on the E75 chassis so you will be spotted pretty far away However, with the map changes coming in the patch 8. I don't necessary agree with you, its true the PTA top tier is much more map dependent than E50 but still in most of the games u can have a big influence being top tier Anyone is waiting this tank???

Its useless tank for blitz because maps are toooo little for it. I agree, the tank will be awesome but the maps will be too small. Wouldve never gone for it if I knew Leopard is coming. I would sacrifice a whole nation for some more maps right now,,,map variation is what I want.

Hoping the leopard proto will be good, I probably won't get the leopard 1, but nice pen on a tier 9 med is nothing to sniff at. Reply to quoted posts Clear. Sign In Username or email:.
