All of wich are droped from mobs located inside Naxxramas. You get a minimum of 1 these per pulls , almost every pulls drop some of these scraps. These scraps are blue colored. Spider , Deathknight , Plague , abomination wing. At my knowledge there is 3 boss in each wing and 2 others in the end being a frost wyrm boss and Kel thuzad. My guild was able to go through the deathknight wing easily the first time we went to Naxxramas. We cleared everything from the begining of the deathknight wing to the 1st boss of that wing : instructor raszuvias.
The boss however was not as easy as the mobs. He was actualy pretty difficult. All i can say for this fight is , your priests better be good at tanking :D. In the first area of the deathknight wing lies an npc called Omarion.
He will teach a tailor , leatherworker or blacksmith how to make 2 pieces of epic frost resis gear if you are revered with argent dawn. If you are exalted he will teach you how to make a 3rd piece of epic frost resist gear wich is the chestpiece. Some of the mobs from Naxxramas give argent dawn reputation , i know the deahtknights on the steeds gave about 50 each , not quite sure on the other wings though.
I have been told the abomination wing is the hardest wing. From my experience , it was a pretty hard first pull. The first pull in abomination wing pulls 4 abominations at once. These abominations stun the tank and go for another target. The solution my guild has picked up for the first problem , the one i mentioned a few seconds ago , the one about abominations stunning and going to another target is , we gave our tanks free action potions wich made us able to tank these guys without getting stunned.
From what i red , to obtain this staff you must go through a very very long process. I dont think anyone will get this staff for a very long time. Once you gain all 40 of these pieces, you can make the frame of atiesh, wich will begin a quest.
The top piece can be gotten from Kel thuzad, however im not sure if you need to have this quest to be able to grab the top piece from Kel thuzad. And the bottom piece is with Brann Bronzebeard who was last seen in silithus.
My guess is you probably gonna need to be able to clear AQ40 fully to be able to get bottom piece. Now in the plague wing there is one type of mob , the gargoyles. These guys do a poison debuff that stacks , the more of these debuffs you got the more nature damage you take every few seconds. Well thats pretty much all i know about naxx , i hope i answered some of your questions. Feel free to correct me on any mistakes i may have made in this post. Thank you and have a nice day.
Comment by Thottbot arthas freed the lich king then put on his helm then infused himself with the lich and is now the lich king :P. Comment by Thottbot Arthas being a level 90 or raid group actually makes sense, because arthas while not being so powerful defeated illidan which currently is thrice as tough as kel'thuzad who no one ever downed him yet At that time, he wasnt even the lich king yet.
So basically, arthas is the strongest villain EVER in world of warcraft. I read that yes, it might take up to 5 years.
But there will be smaller expansions with the patches for BC, but the major ones could increase the level cap by 20 levels. So you could go from 70 to There are 4 continets yet to show up on the face of azeroth ok one isnt really a continent, but a big country. In the collector's edition making off dvd you can see the map on a whiteboard.
Northrend - Arthas' kingdom. AND, there is the sunken continent of the Nagas. They said it will likely be an instance. Where queen Azshara lives. So it isnt really a problem waiting 5 years.
Comment by Thottbot just in case some of you havent heard. Comment by Thottbot Ive been searching my server for a naxx running guild for a few months now. Just curious, does anyone ever run naxx anymore? How big of a group of BC players does it take? How does raid looting work; is it the same as normal group looting? Are the desecrated pieces universal for all T3 Gear, or is there a Cloth piece , a leather piece , a mail piece Does everyone get a peice with each boss or is there just one player who loots it?
I havent found any answers to these questions in any posts. I think alot of curious pre-naxxers have been trying to find this info. Comment by Thottbot I'm a fully epic'd level 70 warrior.
Just for fun I went into naxx and tried to clear a few trash mobs They hit me for about 2k per whack. I have a lot of respect for anyone who could do naxx at level Comment by Thottbot They are tuning this dungeon for Level 80 in the next patch, also it will be changed from a 40, to a 25 man scene, and it may be intoduced as an entry level raid dungeon for level 80 players.
MC and Onyxia. You just dont have a Better raid then Naxxramas. Comment by Thottbot I myself was fortunate enough to experience most pre-BC content and I can tell you for sure, you're missing out if you haven't seen it. Naxx was a great instance and I can't wait for it's return, but what about the other instances? I hope someday they bring the rest back and upgrade them to 70 or something.
Check out the bosses on thottbot and the instance is so big you get to mount in there on special bug mounts that drop off the trash, trust me, do BWL do Naxx, but trust me AQ40 rocks too. Comment by Thottbot there is no 10 man heroic, heroic means 25 man. Only 2 types. Comment by Thottbot If you spent 30 seconds inspecting the place you'd figure it out. Just fly up into it's pooper.
Comment by Thottbot I know that there are a few lvl 60 players out there that are still cringing over the fact that the Pre-BC 40man raid is no longer available. Even though i lvl my main to 80, i still see thir point.
SO, for their case, I'l argue that there should be another entrance to Naxxramas In the Caverns of Time , just for lvl 60 chars. The fact that there would be two almost identical instances would make logical sense in COT, and there wouldn't be a huge chunk of pre-Expansion content missing. Do not butcher me for this, it is just an idea of how to satisfy every WOW subscriber. Comment by Thottbot I hate the way every raid leader wants people with experience.
We all gotta start somewhere right? I'm a hunter and my dps isn't bad, up for nax standard but no one will exept me into their grp because i don't know the tacs. Comment by Thottbot ya.. I've been so lonely since tbc came out. Comment by Thottbot Never commented on Thottbot but i would agree in saying that they should bring back Naxx Only went once and that was at level 70, only got a few bosses down.
Would really enjoy it to be able to get back in there. Comment by Thottbot If you fly up to it, you will see that Naxx is actually quite small, but seems huge when you are inside it This explains it alL! Naxx is actually the T. Kel'Thuzad is probably Doctor Who! These pieces were introduced in Naxx to help guilds clear AQ40, so they don't have a place in P5 at the start.
Blizzard is evaluating when to add them. While this is listed under the bugfix section of the patch notes, it's worth highlighting that this was never fixed in vanilla WoW. Phase 6 also fixes Improved Weapon Totems , a bug that was documented in vanilla but not fixed until Burning Crusade. With both of these changes, we have to wonder if Classic Burning Crusade is on the way, leading Blizzard to depart from nochanges to improve the game in future content patches. Items and Content This patch includes the following new pursuits: Being exalted with your Warsong Gulch faction now offers epic-quality leg gear.
Crafted nature resist pieces are now available with Cenarion Circle reputation. Nature resist enchants for leg and head gear are now available from Zul'Gurub. Band of Cenarius is available from A Humble Offering. Please note: The release of some items above may come before or after this patch. During internal testing we discovered that this issue also affected the Paladin and Shaman 6-piece Tier 3 set bonuses, and in fixing that, we decided to also fix it in many other situations where buffs and auras should affect Ranged Attack Power.
It was considered a bug at that time, and will now be resolved here, as was originally intended. Comment by Kanariya Do note that unlike retail, Naxxramas has no exit. The Plaguewood teleport spire is one-way only. Once you're in, the only way out is to port, hearth, or die. All you need to do to get to the final bosses is to walk into the portal which is at the heart of the raid and you'll come face to face with Sapphiron.
You can complete the zones in any order that you wish to. It was required to defeat all four zones before you could get the portal to the last two bosses but now that is no longer a requirement, you can jump straight to the final two bosses if needs be. To get to the raid location, you need to fly there or be summoned by party members. There is no raid finder feature for this raid, you will need to make your own way there. The raid is located in the eastern part of Dragonblight, high up above the city.
There are quite a few pyramids but only one allows access to Naxxramas. The instance is still off the ground and you are required to fly up to the instance to get in. If you still don't have flight skill, you'd have to be teleported up to the instance by other raid members. Although there are achievements that make up a major achievement, there is no mount to be rewarded here but there are three pets that can be collected from the various bosses.
Use Tranquilizing Shot whenever he Enrages. Have a kite and crowd control rotation for the zombies spawning from the grates in the back of the room. Mage s and Hunter s are great for this with their novas and ice traps. The goal is to keep the zombies grouped up and well away from the boss but do not bother to DPS them just yet. This will prompt the zombies to move to the boss and heal him if they reach. Kill them all before this happens, and repeat until the boss is dead.
Split your raid evenly into two groups and fight each boss on its starting platform to avoid their most damaging ability.
The group that fights Feugen cannot have any Mana-using damage dealers as he has a Mana draining aura. Healers can outrange this aura if the boss and the tank are positioned properly. These mini-bosses will periodically throw their respective tanks across the room. This wipes threat, and you should have an off-tank ready to pick up the boss whenever this happens. Kill them both within 5 seconds of each other or they will resurrect.
Jump into Thaddius platform, as simply walking off will make you miss. Players need to be grouped up with same-debuff players in order to get a damage buff. Crossing opposite debuffs means almost certain death. Pre-assign a side of the boss for each debuff and have everyone pay close attention to their debuff status at all times, as the boss periodically changes the debuffs of the raid at random. The way this works can be seen at this point in the video.
The Military Quarter has three bosses, and while the first two are of comparable difficulty to the previous bosses you faced, The Four Horsemen is something else. You will need to employ many more tanks than you have so far in any WoW Classic boss encounter, and they need to have good gear and consumables because the bosses hit hard. This boss hits incredibly hard and needs to be tanked by his own adds, through the use of a Priest 's Mind Control spell.
The adds have a taunt and a shield wall ability. The idea is to always have an add with shield wall tanking the boss, so make sure your Priests are mind controlling new adds as needed whenever the current one has his shield wall effect near its end. Any adds not being mind controlled should be tanked by your tanks near the Priests. Razuvious himself has a shout that burns all Mana of anyone in line of sight, dealing lethal damage in the process.
Make sure to tank him at the bottom of the ramp, possibly behind a wall, to make it easy for your Mana users to break line of sight whenever this shout is incoming. Split your raid evenly into two groups, with ranged on the left living side and melee on the right undead side. The idea is to have stronger DPS on the undead side, as any adds killed in the living side are transformed into adds for the undead side to deal with, which are also generally more dangerous.
Kill riders first, then death knights and lastly trainees on the living side, and trainees, then riders, then death knights and finally horses on the undead side. This is where we get to the ultimate bosses of WoW Classic. We strongly recommend checking the video for the details. You will need to have your players rotate on each horseman based on their debuffs of that horseman, in order to avoid getting more than 3 of a particular debuff. Healers have somewhat of a special rotation, as they will rotate one by one on every mark before starting to rotate on 3 like the rest of the group, in order to ensure that there is always good healer coverage on each boss, rather than having periods without anyone healing due to movement.
In order to achieve this, have one healer on each starting side rotate to the next boss, clockwise, on the first mark. A different healer in each group should move on the second mark, and the third healer moves on the third mark. After this first rotation, you move clockwise whenever you have 3 marks, ensuring optimal uptime.
Slow and steady is the way to go in this encounter, good luck! The Frostwyrm Lair is the final destination of Naxxramas and houses only two bosses. Unfortunately, these are also by far the hardest bosses in the raid, and WoW Classic as a whole, and can be a big roadblock. Once you have cleared this place, it is time to get ready for Burning Crusade icecream flavor, because Vanilla is done and dusted!
Sapphiron is a very simple boss mechanically, but also the toughest healing check in WoW Classic. The main challenge of the fight will come from his permanent frost aura, which constantly damages the whole raid for significant frost damage.
He also deals high melee damage to the tank, applies life-draining debuffs which should be dispelled instantly, and casts a Blizzard effect inside his room, which slowly moves around the room, slowing and damaging everyone caught within. Ultimately, the biggest problem is that Sapphiron is also all but impossible to zerg down, as he will spend significant time in the air, reducing melee uptime.
Spread out as soon as he starts going up , as he will proceed to freeze five players, dealing area of effect damage around them in the process. The players who are not frozen need to hide behind a frozen person's iceblock, in order to line of sight the frost breath explosion that slowly drops to the middle of the room after all freezes go off, with any failure to do so being punished by death.
There are DPS and healing checks, multiple one-shot mechanics to avoid, the need to quickly crowd control both humanoids and undead, an interrupt rotation to handle and three long phases to deal with. In the first phase , you will be surrounded by adds. Wait for them to come to you, as attacking them before they start moving towards you is likely to cause your group to get overwhelmed needlessly. Have your tanks and melee deal with the Abominations, minding their healing reduction debuff, and your ranged deal with the Skeletons and Banshees, both of which will cause large amounts of area of effect damage on the raid if they get close enough.
Once you kill enough of them, most of the remaining enemies will despawn, which indicates the second phase is about to start. Have your ranged and healer players immediately spread around the room, as Kel'Thuzad might start using his deadly area of effect abilities as soon as he becomes active.
